Bruce Threlkeld is a seasoned multi-instrumentalist and educator with over three decades of experience in music performance and instruction. Proficient in instruments such as the 5-string banjo, guitar, mandolin, ukulele, bass, and percussion, Bruce has taught thousands of hours and performed across various states, including Texas, Georgia, Montana, and Florida. His teaching approach is personalized and adaptable, aiming to help students understand the rhythmic, harmonic, and melodic elements of music. Bruce’s performances blend elements of country, folk, and Americana, offering audiences a rich and engaging musical experience.
Ray Adams

Ray Adams performs music of historical relevance to southern Appalachia at small venues and events in the Brevard area. He always has a lot of fun captivating his audiences with tasteful old mountain melodies and songs. Ray performs what many call “early” country music recorded from the late 1920’s through the 1950’s. When he performs here at Wine Down on February 21, our guests will enjoy simple meaningful songs originally sung by the Carter Family, Ola Belle Reed, Jimmie Rodgers, Jean Ritchey, the Wilburn Brothers, Molly O’Day and many others from days gone by.

Excellent spot for a date night. My husband and I had a beer and a Sunboy coconut water, so there’s more than wine! The wine selection was also wonderful, and we loved the atmosphere.
Best charcuterie board around. Excellent wine choices. Good paninis. Live music between 6 and 9 on Friday and Saturdays
Super cute little wine bar with a fun menu of fabulous looking flat breads and panninis. Bit we opted for a choose your own charcuterie board. The duck liver with cognac mousse was heaven! And listening to the music of Elizabeth McCorvey made for a perfect experience.
What a find in this town! Impressive wine selection, flight offerings, Melissa is great at her craft and very charismatic.
My favorite spot in Downtown Brevard! You won’t find a more relaxed, warm and friendly place anywhere. I was pleasantly surprised by the food, not expecting too much from a wine bar. The Italian Panini was amazing! The owner and the staff are so welcoming and hospitable and you can feel it the moment you walk in the door. A wine bar with a really great beer selection and an atmosphere that makes you feel like you’ve always belonged there. I couldn’t recommend it more.
Great place for a glass and a nosh. We went with a big bday group, and they didn’t even blink – just served us with friendliness, professionalism, great service! We will be back soon!
EVERYTHING is great!! Delicious food, a HUGE selection of beer and wine, beautiful ambience, a super stellar staff, and an incredible owner who welcomes you in like family. Go here and you’ll be happy, simple as that.
